Bipartisan Senate Bill Would Give Judiciary Control of Some Courthouses

A group of senators from both parties introduced a bill in the Senate. The bill would let the judicial branch manage some federal courthouses. Senator Richard J. Durbin of Illinois is the main sponsor of the bill. He said the goal is to keep courthouses safe, secure, and working well for everyone.
