Colorado small town abandoned after all elected officials resign, water concerns grow

The town of Hartman in Colorado has been declared abandoned by the state. All elected officials resigned, leaving no board of trustees or town clerk. Because of this, the town's water system is now considered a health hazard. State officials made the decision after a public hearing showed the town could not hold elections or maintain essential infrastructure.
