Viasat selects Rocket Lab for Space Force satellite program
Viasat Inc. chose Rocket Lab Corporation to build a satellite for the US Space Force. The satellite will be in a special orbit called geosynchronous Earth orbit. It will carry Viasat's communication equipment. This is part of a bigger project to deliver small, maneuverable satellites for the US Space Force.
