Vulnerable Democrat warns party to 'fight back' against growing socialist movement

Representative Tom Suozzi, a Democrat from New York, told Fox News that his party should resist the growing socialist wing. He said he does not support socialist ideas and believes few Democrats do. He compared the Democratic Socialists of America to the House Freedom Caucus on the right. He also said the DSA’s use of the word “democratic” is misleading because its goals are mainly socialist.
