Bulls' Caleb Wilson will have a say in the race for Rookie of the Year

<p>The legendary Muhammad Ali was from the University of “It ain’t bragging if it’s true.”</p><p>Good to see all these years later that a new-school, 20-year-old like Caleb Wilson isn’t bashful about talking a few of those classes.</p><p>Since being selected No. 4 overall in a loaded 2026 draft, the North Carolina product hasn’t been shy about his intentions in Year 1 and how he plans to obtain those.</p><p>He not only declared in his introductory press conference back in June that he “expects to have Rookie of the Year, honestly,” but added, “I feel like the team is really good for me and how I envision to play.”</p><p>That’s key for a first-year player looking to do big things: Does he have the talent to put a Rookie of the Year campaign together, and maybe more importantly, is there roster opportunity for that campaign to be unleashed?</p><p>There are exceptions to that roster rule as Charlotte’s Kon Knueppel showed last season.
