CNN has announced the appointment of award-winning Italian journalist Stefano Pozzebon as an international correspondent based in its Rome bureau. Pozzebon will be responsible for covering major news stories in Italy and across Europe for CNN’s linear and digital platforms. He will work alongside CNN Vatican Correspondent Christopher Lamb, who leads CNN’s coverage of the Vatican and the papacy of Pope Leo. Pozzebon, who studied International Journalism at City University, London, is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese as well as his native Italian.
