The driver chose to follow deputies back to the Twiggs County Sheriff’s Office, where citations were issued, bond was posted, and the driver was released. Just a very fast car learning a very expensive lesson."Smith was cited for speeding and reckless driving.The Eagles didn't love this and Smith said he was sorry.He took that apology public on Monday when he spoke of the incident for the first time."I apologized to the organization and, um, I'll make that apology now, you know?" Smith told reporters on Monday.
