During a Liga Mexicana de Béisbol game between the Toros de Tijuana and the Acereros de Monclova on Sunday, a routine play quickly turned into a brawl fit for an Octagon. When the Toros’ Danry Vasquez, a former Astros prospect, was tagged out during a rundown in the bottom of the fourth inning, he unexpectedly responded with a right hook to Monclova third baseman Rodolfo Amador’s face, leading to a full benches-clearing incident. Vasquez, who has since been suspended indefinitely by LMB, doubled down after Amador fell, kicking him in the back of the head.
