But now she’s set to make her full-length debut behind the camera with “Sixth Avenue Saints,” which she also wrote. The film is a period piece set in 1993, against the gritty, pre-gentrified streets of Brooklyn and Downtown Manhattan and tells the story of Luan, a sensitive 12-year-old growing up in a fractured household in Coney Island.
