<p>A man was killed and a woman was wounded in a shooting in South Chicago. </p><p>Jose Ariel Gonzalez, 40, and a 32-year-old woman were in the 8900 block of South Escanaba Avenue around 3:05 a.m. July 26 when they were both shot, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner's office said. </p><p>Gonzalez was shot in the neck and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he died, police said.
