This week’s episode of “Hard Knocks” on HBO focused on the team’s decision to sign Arnold, and at one point, general manager John Schneider told special teams coordinator Jay Harbaugh that “I think we probably would have had to let him go” if Arnold had been a Seahawk at the time of his arrest. Harbaugh, the son of Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh, asked why the Lions released Arnold in the first place.
