Investing.com -- Swiss packaging company SIG Group replaced Chief Executive Mikko Keto on Monday, months after his appointment, naming Ann-Kristin Erkens as permanent CEO to ensure continuity in its ongoing transformation programme. The board said it had concluded that continuity and pace of execution were the priorities at this stage of the programme, and that Erkens was best placed to carry it forward, having already led the company as interim CEO from August 2025 to the end of February 2026.

The board said it had concluded that continuity and pace of execution were the priorities at this stage of the programme, and that Erkens was best placed to carry it forward, having already led the company as interim CEO from August 2025 to the end of February 2026. Erkens, who joined SIG as chief financial officer in November 2023 and held senior financial, operational and strategic roles for more than 20 years at Henkel before that, will retain the CFO role until a successor is named. Erkens said SIG’s priorities were clear: focusing resources on areas of highest customer and shareholder value, improving operational performance and maintaining "strict cost and capital discipline." SIG launched its transformation programme in the second half of last year.
