<p>The <a class="Link" href="https://chicago.suntimes.com/chicago-sky" target="_blank" >Sky</a> signed Morgan Maly, a former Creighton standout, to a development contract. She will be available for the Sky’s next game Friday at home against the Valkyries.</p><p>The Sky had two development spots open after forward <a class="Link" href="https://chicago.suntimes.com/chicago-sky/2026/08/18/mercury-poach-forward-maddy-westbeld-from-sky" >Maddy Westbeld</a> signed a rest-of-season contract with the Mercury. Even with only eight games remaining, there is value in adding a development player now because the Sky can retain her rights for next season.</p><p>Maly, a 6-1 shooter, went undrafted out of Creighton and signed a training camp contract with the Sun.
