Morgan Griffith, R-Va., would have sat at the edge of the only remaining Republican-held district under Richmond Democrats’ proposed 10-1 congressional map, which a bipartisan group of Virginia Supreme Court justices blocked earlier this year.Virginia's top state Republican — whose district is not far west of where Spanberger got booed — told Fox News Digital the incident proved to the governor that her policies run counter to what his neighbors want from Richmond:"Southwest Virginians have never been shy about standing up for their values and their way of life," said House Minority Leader Terry Kilgore of Gate City."When you try to take away their voice in Congress, go after their Second Amendment rights, and drive up their power bills to pay for a green energy agenda they don’t want and can’t afford, folks are going to let you know how they feel," he said.Former Attorney General Jason Miyares, a top figure in the "Vote No" coalition opposing Spanberger’s redistricting effort, said in a statement that the crowd’s response was predictable."Governor Spanberger booed in Galax.
