Seven tenant groups went through the process but were unable to buy the building, according to the city. One group of Logan Square renters has <a class="Link" href="https://blockclubchicago.org/2026/07/15/logan-square-renters-the-1st-to-sue-landlord-over-tenant-right-of-first-refusal-act-violation/" target="_blank" ><u>sued</u></a> their landlord for not complying with the ordinance.
