Eight major Japanese publishers, studios and production companies will pitch intellectual property to international buyers at the second edition of Tokyo IP Market: Adaptation & Remake, running Oct. 28-30 at TIFFCOM 2026 in Tokyo. The platform, known as TIPM, will host one-on-one business meetings and open pitching sessions at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center Hamamatsucho-Kan. Producers from Hollywood, Europe and Asia will attend, seeking to secure rights to adapt and remake Japanese manga, novels and classic films.
