The NHTSA is investigating 1.2 million Tesla vehicles over suspension failure reports
The U.S. safety agency NHTSA is looking into about 1.2 million Tesla cars. The investigation concerns a possible suspension problem that could make the car hard to steer. It covers Model 3 from 2018‑2020 and Model Y from 2021‑2023. NHTSA says it got 156 complaints about a part called the front lower lateral link detaching.
